Strawberry Mochi wif Red Bean filling

Made mochi yesterday nite.. simple recipe. Only thing that takes time is to wrap in the red bean filling.. find it abit too soft.. so increased the amt of glutinous rice flour today.. QQ.. nice! (recipe ask for mochiko flour.. dono wat that is.. some recipe put rice flour, some put glutinous rice flour.. so i mix half half 1st try [soft mochi], 2nd try.. juz rite!)


Mochi recipe


1C boiling water, 1/3C sugar

5 1/3oz mochiko flour

*corn flour to dust*

Stir to dissolve sugar, den add in the mochiko flour, stir to mix. Microwave 1min on high. Supposed to change to abit translucent.. n look cooked..

Stir n Stir.. coat wif corn flour to prevent sticking to surface, knead abit.. peel of small portion, wrap in watever filling u wana add. roll into ball.. coat wif more corn flour.
